DSI Extends Amazon Integration Services to Include Amazon.de

Tuesday, April 04 2006 (Cork, Ireland) — Following the selection of DSI as Europe’s first Amazon Certified Provider, the Cork-based company announced today that they will now provide integration software and services to merchants joining Amazon.de’s e-commerce platform.

DeCare Systems Ireland is the first software company Amazon Services Europe has certified to provide software and services for retailers selling products through all of Amazon’s European websites. DSI already work closely with Amazon.co.uk as an integration partner and provide the industry-leading software solution for the Merchants@ business – the Ixtens Marketplace Trader for Amazon. On a larger scale, DSI’s work in project managing Amazon Enterprise Solution implementations (the program formerly known as Merchant.com) for both Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.com clients, is gaining considerable industry recognition. "DSI is delivering high value managed services including project management and hosting, to Amazon's Enterprise Solution clients in both Europe and the United States", says John Murphy, DSI's Director Of Operations. "Since achieving certification, DSI and Amazon have been working closely together on a number of significant integration engagements", continued John Murphy.

In 2005 Amazon's revenue from it Amazon Enterprise Solutions market increased 74% to $230 million. "Our role in the relationship is to manage and implement the integrations with Amazon. Its a hugely important and critical role for both Amazon and DSI", concluded John Murphy.

DSI’s success can be attributed not only to their achievements in rapidly and seamlessly integrating Avon.com and Figis.com onto the Amazon.com platform in the US, but has also been due to their ability to forge a strong symbiotic partnership with leading Amazon Independent Software Vendor (ISV) - Ixtens.com. DSI has partnered with Ixtens to develop a comprehensive feature rich version of their product for Amazon’s UK and German retailers wishing to integrate with Amazon.de’s eCommerce platform. The software solution – the Ixtens Marketplace Trader for Amazon – is the leading Amazon integration product used in the United States, powering the Internet channels of some of the most successful US retailers. "Our product offering in the German marketplace is very well placed as it includes tight integration with Intershop, Germanys leading eCommerce product", remarked John Murphy.
