Expands to Meet Growing Demand
April 25, 2006 (Cork, Ireland)— Leading
software development and eCommerce solutions provider DeCare
Systems Ireland Ltd (DSI) announced today that it is experiencing
substantial international business growth. 'Since the start
of this year, DSI has seen record business growth month on
month,' said DSI's Director of Operations John Murphy. 'Achieving
certification as Amazon's first European Systems Integrator
has driven Amazon related business activity faster than what
we had anticipated. Added to this has been our continued success
in winning significant new software development contracts,
' continued Murphy.
Based in Cork, Ireland,
DSI focuses on designing and developing highly stable and
performant IT systems for high profile Global clients in the
insurance and retail sectors. 'The implementation of the DSI
Building Better Software program and the heavy emphasis
on a software engineering culture in the company have created
a highly productive and innovative environment,' said Murphy.
'The ability to INVENT, is to my mind, what software engineering
is all about,' continued John Murphy.
DSI currently employs
95 people, up from 79 in December 2005, and is looking to
hire additional
developers over the summer. 'The focus of our growth over
the next few months is going to be on the Microsoft technology
platform. We have already established a very strong Java
practice within the company and we want to invest in acquiring
additional .Net and Microsoft SQL Server T-SQL skills to create
a strong .Net practice within the company,' said Murphy.
