Enhanced Customer Billing System Goes Live for Leading US Insurer.

Online Billing Reports will allow the Benefits Administrators access to invoices, statements, subscriber listings, customer history and claims detail reports for the current period via the Internet.

The enhanced Billing Report online application provides innovative functionality:

  • The Billing Department can approve and post billing documents to a protected external site allowing customers to retrieve as required.
  • Automatic Email notifications can be sent to the Benefits Administrator when billing reports are approved and available for review.
  • Benefits Administrators have individual log in access to detailed customer reports.
  • Report formats can now be created in both text files and PDF's. Text files can be imported into Excel and modified as required. PDF files can be printed and used as a replacement for the current hard copy distributed by post.

Behind the online application is a new multi-treaded high performance Java EE generation engine that integrates seamlessly with the existing Core Billing System and has the capacity to generate 15 PDF per sec without impacting on other core applications on the same hardware base.
