US Insurer Selects DSI for Enterprise Benefits Management System

(Cork, Ireland) April 15, 2008 — DeCare Systems Ireland (DSI) has been awarded a significant contract to deliver an enterprise benefits management system to an East Coast Insurer. Serving over 12 million members, DSI’s client is a leading dental benefits management company and will use the system to administer government dental benefits programs as well as a range of commercial dental plans.

While DSI was completing a Membership component of a benefits management system for their commercial business in 2007, the client decided to extend their initial vision to incorporate their Government business into the new application. Through consultation with the client and analysing the existing application architecture, DSI was awarded the contract following an extensive tender process.

The new system will be a .Net-based application based on Service Oriented Architecture which will provide the client with the ability to share services through various interfaces with existing and new businesses.
